I’m a designer based in Toronto, Ontario. I’m drawn to complex problems, especially the ones where making something simple isn’t simple at all.
A lot of my experience has been designing products that help people understand and navigate complexity, with data being a big part of that. I think deeply about how people consume information, make decisions, and interact with things that weren’t necessarily designed with them in mind.
I’m interested in lowering the ceiling. Taking things that feel technical or intimidating and making them intuitive and approachable without losing the depth underneath.
But good design isn’t just about making things easier to use. It’s also about how an experience makes someone feel. Does it give them confidence? Make them curious? Help them feel in control?
Across a decade at IBM, Microsoft, Shopify, and beyond, I’ve worked across a range of products and problems. The common thread has always been finding ways to make complex things feel clearer, more useful, and more human.
